Telescoping storage building BUILDINGS Miscellaneous 17-1-23 "Lets you store bales or equipment right up to within inches of the ceiling. No space is wasted," says the manufacturer of a new-style farm building that's built in three telescoping sections that roll back and forth on tracks.
The building requires no permanent foundation - only an L-shaped above-ground concrete footing to support the roller tracks. The building can be easily moved by dragging the footings to a new location.
The frame of the building is made out of metal tubing. Heavy duty canvas is stretched over the framework with a gently curving peak at top. Because the sections slide back and forth, you can build a stack of bales with the cover out of the way and then, once you're finished, slide that section of building over the stack. No need to leave clearance room at top for the front-end loader to work.
Buildings range in size from 30 ft. wide and 80 ft. long to 15 ft. wide and 50 ft. long.
