New easy to use nylon hose clamps MISCELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT Miscellaneous 11-2-29 "They're stronger, cheaper and easier to install than metal hose clamps," says Stephen Cook, Chariton, Iowa about his new plastic interlocking hose clamps that tighten quickly with pliers.
Clamps are made from unbreakable nylon that eliminates problems with rust, corrosion and sharp edges that cut into hoses. They install in seconds by simply wrapping them around the hose and squeezing together. They remove just as quickly by spreading them with a screwdriver.
Twenty-three different sizes are available from ?-in. dia. up to radiator hose size. Prices range from 15 cents to 30 cents.
