Puzzle Weights are 12 by 2-in. hollow plastic casings that weigh 22 lbs. apiece when filled with sand or concrete. They don't slide around when fitted together and yet can be taken out easily, according to Cook. "You can use them in any car or pickup. They work especially well in pickups with heavy suspension since the added weight makes them ride better as well as improves traction," says Cook. "Wives usually don't like the weights their husbands put in their cars such as tractor weights, cement blocks, or-bags of feed. Puzzle Weights take up a minimum of space, they look nice, and they don't damage cargo like cement blocks or other bulky weights." Puzzle Weights are available in different configurations for different sized pickups. A larger pickup, for example, needs more corner and end pieces than a small-size pickup. "I've found that 700 lbs., or about 32 weights, is a good carrying weight for a full-sized pickup. On the other hand, you might put just 6 weights in an average-size car trunk."
