Taarup Chopper HAY & FORAGE HARVESTING Forage Harvesters 12-1-23 "Works great under any and all conditions," say representatives of Taarup, manufacturers of a new chopper (shown above) that uses three rotating discs, fitted with crop-gathering fingers, to pull in the crop.
Both outside discs turn toward to the center of the 9-ft. wide machine. Rotating blades, beneath the top crop-gathering discs, cut the crop. The company says the disc design weighs less than the drums used by other manufacturers, and make maintenance eaiser because of better access to the parts of the machine. Row-independent corn chopper head interchanges with a hay pickup.
