Two Way Push Pull Cultivator Hitch
With the 2-way cultivator hitch designed by Minnesota farmer Harold Fratzke, of Cottonwood, you can convert your rear-mounted cultivator to fit tractors with front 3-pt. hitches.

Two way push pull cultivator hitch HITCHES Hitches 9-5-21 With the 2-way cultivator hitch designed by Minnesota farmer Harold Fratzke, of Cottonwood, you can convert your rear-mounted cultivator to fit tractors with front 3-pt. hitches.
Advantages cited by Fratzke for front-mounting the cultivator include better visibility, it's easier to cultivate hillsides and curves, and you can put a mulcher or anhydrous tank on the back of the tractor for doing two jobs at once.
The steel hitch he designed bolts to the cultivator toolbar. It includes a 3-pt. hookup off the front so you can still put the cultivator on the back of the tractor if desired.
Fratzke says his hitch will fit any commercial front 3-pt. hitch, including one he's developed. Fratzke says his 3-pt. costs about half of what others sell for because it's simpler and doesn't have rocker arms, shaft or linkage.
It bolts to the tractor frame and uses two hydraulic cylinders, powered off the tractor's hydraulics, to lift. Franzke notes that the 3-pt. has the same height range as rear 3-pt. and has 8,000 lbs. lift capacity. Sells for $1,500.
