Built from galvanized steel with rows of perforations and steel baffles designed to channel all of the crop material over its surface, the cob saver can be quickly removed to replace the sieves for conventional harvesting. There's no permanent modification involved. The company makes Cob Savers to fit any combine, ranging in price from $250 to $400, depending on the size of the machine.
