Blaster Fan COMBINES Accessories 11-3-21 If you have an older "cabless" combine or problems with too much dust and chaff on your newer "cabbed" combine, you might be interested in this combine air blaster developed by Italian inventor-manufacturer Guido Marigonda.
The hydraulic-powered air mover consists of two high-speed fan blades that mount just above the feederhouse. The 2-ft. dia. fans both blow in the same direction. Blades spin at 2,200 rpm's.
"They suck in virtually 100% of chaff and dust and blow it off to the side. Even if you've got a cab, sometimes the air cleaners can't handle all the dust that comes up and over the machine. This fan also helps keep cab windows clean," says Marigonda. His air blaster sells for $1,100 and fits any combine, swather or tractor using simple mounting brackets.
