Equipment maker now builds mini farm toys FARM HOME Toys/Games 12-4-20 "No one else builds farm toys like these," says Harvey Bish, a successful farm equipment manufacturer from Giltner, Neb., who recently got into the fast-growing farm toy business.
Bish is inventor of the popular Bish Quick Tach Head Adaptor that lets you mount a corn or grain head from one manufacturer on another manufacturer's combine. He builds other equipment as well, including a combine grain tank extension.
Bish says he's first to build a working toy auger wagon. The 2-wheeled wagon is 14 in. long with an 8 by 10-in. box and a single, hand-turned unload auger. They're avail-able in red or green. He also builds a gravity bottom 6-gal. heavy-built grain bin with a removeable top and a working unload auger (Bish notes that the unload augers work on ground grain, not on grain itself). Bins are made from galvanized steel with a black base. Each wagon and bin is serial numbered and dated. Wagons sell for $75 and bins for $60.
