Grain Tank-Auger Extensions Fold Down For Storage COMBINES Accessories 20-4-29 "Our new extended quick-fold auger is de-signed for use with combine grain tank ex-tensions. Maurer Manufacturing's kit extends the length of the original loading auger 24 in., 14 in above the height of most grain tank extensions. Grain is dropped into the tank rather than pushed upward, reducing grain damage and relieving stress on belts and pulleys, Sparks notes.
The auger folds quickly to the height of the original grain tank so the combine can still be driven into a machine shed.
Installation is simple and requires no modifications. Available only for Deere 9500 and 9600 series combines.
Sells for $695. Maurer also offers its own grain tank extension.
