The system consists of a bale accumulator, bale grabber, and bale transporter.
The bale accumulator tows behind the baler and automatically assembles a square pack of 8 bales in a 4-wide, 2-long con-figuration.
A loader-mounted 8-bale grabber is then used to pile the bales in stacks of 40, 56, or 72 bales.
The bale transporter carries stacks to the barn or storage area and can be adjusted to carry either 56 or 72 bales at a time. A 3-pt. mounted "squeeze transporter" can be used to haul up to 40 small bales at a time and is ideal for moving bales short distances off the field.
The bale acccumulator sells for $3,860, the 8-bale grab for $2,130, the bale trans-porter for $8,950, and the squeeze trans-porter for $4,153.
The company's big square bale accumulator assembles either two or three bales at a time and can be used with bales from 4 to 8 ft. long. Dropping bales in groups of two or three allows pickup time to be reduced by 70 to 80% compared to picking up single bales, says Netherway. A loader-mounted "super bale grab" can be used to load or unload big bales onto trucks or wagons (the 8-bale grab can be used with bales weighing up to 500 lbs.). The bale transporter can be adjusted to carry 12 to 18 big square bales while the squeeze transporter handles up to 6 medium bales.
The 3-big bale accumulator sells for $14,800, the 2-big bale accumulator for $13,200, and the super bale grab for $4,300.
