Two-Way Plow Mounts In Rear SNOWBLOWERS Snowblowers 3-2-28 This first-of-its-kind snow blower from Northeast Implement Corp., of Spencer, N.Y., has a 3 pt. hitch mounted on both ends, allowing it to be both pulled and pushed. Pulling the rear-mounted unit allows you to drive the tractor forward, thus eliminating the need to have to twist your neck to keep looking back. In unusually deep snow (over 3 ft.), the unit can be reversed and hooked up in the "push" or backup position. "Farmer owners tell us they seldom operate the unit in the backward or push configuration, even in deep snow," explains the manufacturer. "If the snow is unusually deep, they prefer to make two passes with the unit in the pull or forward position rather than have to drive the tractor backwards." A feeding system which moves snow toward the rotor is built in to prevent plugging in heavy, wet snow. The feeding propellers and the rotor are flail type to prevent damage to the machine when rocks or other solid objects get into the machine. Snow can be blown to either side, or to both sides of the blower at one time. Discharge direction is controlled from the driver's seat. The blower glides on the ground on runners, which can be adjusted for "clean shaves", or for some clearance where necessary. Fits on any tractor with Cat. I or II hitch.
