"The biggest advantage of the blade is that you can see where you're going. With rear-mounted grader blades, you have to drive over everything to move it. This blade lets you push forward with a great degree of control," says Anderson.
Completely hydraulic, the An-Bo blade comes in widths from 54 in. to 9 ft. and is designed to fit all loaders equipped with hydraulic tilt bucket.
"You can install it on any farm loader in minutes. One hydraulic cylinder mounted on the blade mechanism turns it right or left and the bucket tilting cylinders tilt either end as much as 11 1/2 in. for making a grade or scraping dirt off a hill," explains Anderson.
The smallest 54-in. blade, which weighs 380 lbs. and sells for $940, fits tractors down to 12 hp. Six sizes range up to the 9-ft. model which weighs 1,100 lbs. and sells for $1,495. It's designed for tractors from 80 to 150 hp.
