You should be able to cut hay hauling time in half with the new fork. And, if you have a bale moving attachment for your front tractor loader, the job will go even faster, says Bohnert.
Hitching up to any Category II 3 pt. hitch, the bale mover has four teeth, 3 in. in dia., 63 in. long, spaced about 30 in. apart. Two teeth slide under each bale to lift it rather than stabbing like some models.
The frame of the unit is made of 3 1/2 in. square tubing. It's 11 ft. 3 in. wide, stands 34 in. high, and weighs 500 lbs.
Bohnert says the unit's other uses include moving small hog sheds, pulling posts and hauling panels.
