The lights are controlled by radio wave signals so the remote doesn't have to be pointed toward the lights. Also, each remote has its own code, so no other remotes on the road will affect your set of lights. "The remote has a fairly long range û it'll work from a semi's cab all the way back to a pup trailer," Stiles says. "These lights offer the security of knowing you're traveling more safely while using them, but they can also be used as a back up at other times. You usually don't find out that you have a tail light problem until you're away from home and it's dark. With these along, it's no problem to get home because they're so quick and easy to use.
