Baggy Storage Rack FARM HOME Food 28-2-31 Ken Reed is a sheet metal mechanic who needs to have many small parts with him in his service truck when he goes out to do jobs. He wanted an easier and quicker system for finding what he needed amongst his stock, and that's how the ReedRack was born.
The just-patented rack is made from hard plastic and measures 8 by 8 1/2 in. It holds eight zip-lock plastic baggies. The bags slip into parallel slots for storage.
"I carry my lunch in zip-lock bags, and that's what gave me the idea. I can tell at a glance what's in there. Plus, I can recycle my lunch bags!" Reed says.
"The bags stay in place no matter how bumpy the ride," he says. "A row of ReedRacks provides a surprising amount of storage in a work van or around the shop, office or even a kitchen."
The unit attaches simply to a wall using two screws. They sell for $9.95 (Canadian) each plus shipping.
