Works great on carpenter bees or other large flying insects. "The swatter head measures 8 in. sq. The wire mesh is fastened on with wire and hog rings. A 3-in. long tab fits into notches cut into each side of the 4-ft. handle. The handle is made from 1 by 2-in. wood."
