Another thing it works great for according to Gutschmidt is tires If he has a break or cut on the sidewall or bottom he uses the adhesive to close the gap
If you have a scar on a tire surface you can also mend it with this product so it s undetectable he points out It dries to the consistency of rubber Or if you have a pair of overshoes chest waders etc just smear it on the rip or puncture and it will be there to stay The boots won t leak It s a wonderful product and I ve used it for years
Urethane Windshield Adhesive comes in a caulking tube and costs about $10 It s available online from any auto supply store such as NAPA
