Knocking down the roadside hump also improves water runoff. The disk mounts on a Cat II 3-pt. hitch or a side-mount mower frame. The 22-in. dia. closely-spaced, angled discs chew up grassy areas and lumps along the road into small pieces that can then be easily graded. When you try to do the same job with a grader, you end up with large clumps of sod and other debris that can be difficult to distribute evenly across the road.
