Guard Rail Made Out Of An Old Crutch FARM HOME Bathroom 29-2-42 I'm 78 years old and I sometimes get dizzy in the shower. So I came up with the idea of a guard rail made out of an old crutch. I put a couple nails in the shower wall frame and drilled holes in either end of the crutch. So it's easy to set the crutch in place and take it down. Since crutches are made from hard wood, they're very strong and will easy support my weight if I should need it. (Merrill Ray Kopp, Shady Spring, West Virginia)
