Their company, Power Technology Unlimited, is a technology firm, not a manufacturer. None of their machines are on the market yet. "We're looking for someone to buy the patents from us," says Campbell. "Already, Home Depot, Tractor Supply Company, and United Rentals have all shown interest."
• Power Barrow - "This 3-wheeled motorized wheelbarrow is powered by a Honda 4 hp gas engine that chain-drives the front wheel also at a 5 to 1 gear ratio. An electric start model is also available.
"You can easily move six times your own weight over rough terrain. My 15-year old daughter weighs only 85 lbs., but she's still able to dump a 350-lb. load with one hand, says Campbell.
• Hydraulic-powered mixer - You can mix cement while you "drive" this hydraulic-powered mixer. Its 2 1/2-gal. poly tank is small enough to fit through a backyard gate, yet it can carry 100 lbs. of concrete. The machine is powered by a 6 1/2 hp Honda engine that operates a hydraulic pump. You pull a pin to dump the load. Many of the same attachments that go on the Power Trakker can be used with this machine. "It can operate any attachment that runs at 7 to 9 gpm at 3,000 psi," says Campbell.
• Power Trakker - This 3-WD, hydrostatic-powered cart can be fitted with a mower, grader blade, wood chipper, log splitter, and more than 70 different hydraulic-operated attachments. The attachments pin to the frame. The rig is powered by a Honda 4 hp gas engine that chain-drives the front wheel at a 5 to 1 gear ratio. If desired, the rear wheels can be replaced with tracks.
The machine operates with the use of joystick lever controls and has a wide, low center of gravity to navigate slopes.
The Trakker can also be used to power hydraulic-powered hand tools.
