They're made of a heavy-duty polycotton material that's breathable and wears just like a pair of blue jeans. SeatSavers Marketing Director Rick Messmore says, "Most other seat covers install with U-shaped metal rings that fix to the underside of the seat. They're tedious and time consuming to take off. Our covers use a couple hook and loop flaps that are easy to slip on or off." All stress seams are overlapped and double-stitched, just like the seams on a good pair of jeans. SeatSaver covers are custom patterned for each application, including arm rests, head rests, and consoles that fold down to provide seating capacity. Customers need only supply the seat configuration they have, and the company will provide custom-fitted protectors.
