Vertical Log Splitter
I built my own vertical log splitter that's equipped with only a small 3 1/2 by 24-in. cylinder, but still has no problems splitting even knotty elm. The upper end of the cylinder is attached to an L-shaped bracket by two finger-tightened, 3/4-in. dia. bolts. The bracket can be adjusted to different positions, so I can..........
