Low-Cost Creeper FARM SHOP Handy Hints 26-2-39 Teddy and TJ Shambaugh, Cerro Gordo, Ill.: "To make a low-cost creeper for our shop, we mounted the seat off an old riding mower on an angle iron frame supported by four castor wheels. The seat swivels on a short length of pipe bolted to the center of the frame. The seat cushion was all torn up so we removed it. It works good for working on wheel bearings on semi trucks, changing sweeps on field cultivators, etc. Parts and tools can be carried on a metal screen under the seat."
