Add-On Storage Tube For Twine
Dwaine Perrenot, Corpus Christi, Texas, can carry six extra rolls of twine inside a storage tube he built on back of his Deere 430 round baler.

Add-On Storage Tube For Twine BALERS Balers 25-6-18 Dwaine Perrenot, Corpus Christi, Texas, can carry six extra rolls of twine inside a storage tube he built on back of his Deere 430 round baler.
"It eliminates a trip home to get twine. I can reload right where I run out," says Perrenot.
The 10-in. dia. PVC tube is 52 in. long and mounts on the baler's back door with four bolts using existing holes in the baler door. A pair of 1-in. wide, 1/4-in. thick metal straps provide added support. The straps bolt to the tube and to the baler door. Bunge cords on each end hold the twine inside and provide easy access.
The tube extends just past the outside edges of the baler.
"The tube raises up with the door so it's out of the way and doesn't interfere with anything," notes Perrenot. "It's mounted so solid I can stand on it whenever I have to climb up on top of the baler to check bearings or belts, etc. I made a similar storage tube for my Hesston 5500 baler. I think the same idea would work on any baler."
