"World's Safest Post Pounder" FENCING Tools 23-1-27 This post driver from New Zealand recently made its debut in both the U.K. and North America.
Fairbrother Industries bills its "King Hitter" post driver as the safest in the world because of its unique hammer trip mechanism. Unlike other post pounders with free-falling hammers, the hammer on this driver stops instantly the moment you let go of the hydraulic control lever, eliminating the possibility of falling or tripping into harm's way. Because of this feature, you can also drive posts from a full hammer stroke to just 1 in. above them.
Another unique feature is a 200-lb. (standard) or 400-lb. (optional) hydraulic powered spike that'll easily penetrate rock or frost, punching a hole you can drive a post into.
Comes in three models with 12 1/2, 14 or 16-ft. mast and 550 or 400-lb. hammer.
