Home-Built Steamer Thaws Out Frozen Water Pipes
I've used this home-built "steamer" to thaw out frozen water pipes for 20 years.
It consists of a tank built from a 2-ft. length of 6 or 8 in. dia. steel pipe. It has two holes in the top. The front one is fitted with a 3 or 4-ft. length of 3/4-in. dia. pipe with rubber hose attached. The tank mounts on four legs..........
