Home-Built Transmission Jack
Gregory L. Reif, Claflin, Kan.: "I needed a transmission jack but couldn't justify a new one so I built my own. I used two pieces of 3/8-in. thick steel plate - one 18 by 18 in. and the other 10 by 10 in. I welded a scissor jack between the two plates. Four swivel casters under the bottom plate let me roll it all over ..........
