Dividers Improve Combine Capacity On Hillsides
"The problem is that the augers that carry material from the concave to the sieves are taller than the dividing plates. On hillsides, grain piles on one side and covers an entire auger and reduces combine capacity," explains George Kuchar, Carlinville, Ill., manufacturer of hillside dividers for Deere combines.
