Dividers Improve Combine Capacity On Hillsides

The add-on dividers consist of 2-in. tall, 40 to 48-in. long steel bars that attach to the dividing plates. They keep grain from flowing across the augers when the combine is on a slope.
With the dividers installed, Kuchar points out that you'll be able to go faster through heavy crops and will get less return of grain through the sieves.
Prices for a kit to outfit the entire combine range from $100 to $125, depending on combine model.
