Powered by an 18-hp. Briggs and Stratton engine, the 42-ft. crane arm can lift up to 1,000 lbs. at the horizontal and as much as 5,000 lb. close in to the truck. It swivels a full 180? operated by remote controls that let one person handle awkward loads from any vantage point. A "man basket" is available to allow you to use it in place of scaffolding and ladders. The crane stabilizes itself with hydraulic 14-ft. outriggers that self-level on uneven ground. The outriggers swing in next to the truck for transport. They're also used to de-mount the crane. "Truck cranes sell for $60,000 to $120,000.
