Farm floodlight activated by motion MISCELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT Miscellaneous 15-5-28 New uses are busting out all over for Guiding Light, a portable floodlight that turns on automatically when its built-in sensor detects movement. You can use it in or around buildings as a security light, or put it near your garage or driveway to light up the area when you, or visitors, drive in after dark. Another popular use of Guiding Light is to light up the grain handling area at night. When backing trucks or wagons up to the auger, the light can be set so it automatically turns on when the backing vehicle approaches the takaway unloading auger. The working area remains well-lighted until the truck leaves for another load. A "day delay" built into the sensor allows you to set it to respond only to movement during hours of darkness. Sensitivity of the motion detector can be adjusted so it won't respond to the movement of small animals or birds. Guiding Light is powered by a 6 or 12 volt battery and is easily moved from job to job, whether at headquarters or in the field. It also makes a versatile lighting companion on fishing, hunting or camping trips. The light uses a 100 watt bulb. It's mounted on a 4.5 ft, long steel support stem and has a step-down spike for inserting the standup light in the ground. Comes with 30 ft, of cord.
